Comments: This species naturally only occurs in shallow soil pockets on rocky bushveld outcrops close to Mbombela in Mpumalanga. Although the area has been modified by timber plantations and crop cultivation, the species' habitat is unsuitable for cultivation and therefore the wild population has not been impacted by these activities.
