Comments: This stemless dwarf aloe grows in mineral-poor quartzitic soils on the sheer cliffs of the Wolkberg in Limpopo. In summer, temperatures are moderate, up to 2000 mm of rain falls and fog is frequent, while winters are cool and dry. This species is mainly pollinated by sunbirds.
