Comments: This climbing succulent only occurs in West and South-West Madagascar. It is a member of the cucumber family, reflected in the genus name which means "dry cucumber" in Greek. It uses its tendrils to climb up to the canopy of the spiny thicket to access sunlight for photosynthesis.
