Comments:
It is appreciated for its ornamental value and the shade provided by its wide canopy, which makes it suitable for parks and flowerbeds along avenues. The wood is light and waterproof due to its resin content. The indigenous Wichí people use it to build canoes by hollowing its trunk. The wood is of very good quality for the construction of boats, plywood, furniture frames, doors and crates.
