Comments: This is a mat-forming, creeping lithophyte which grows on flat sheets of rock in open scrub and grassland. Its common name, "resurrection plant", refers to the phenomenon where this plant dries out completely during the dry season, appearing to be dead, but reabsorbs moisture in the rainy season.
