Comments: A previously common species, C. azurea has faced a significant reduction in numbers due to urban expansion and crop cultivation. Over 75% of its habitat has been transformed, and the species has become locally extinct on the Cape Peninsula. One large subpopulation still remains on Paardeberg, but otherwise subpopulations are severely fragmented.
