Comments: This beautiful Cape endemic is an endangered species. It only occurs on hilly renosterveld slopes from Tygerberg to Paarl in the Western Cape and has unfortunately lost large parts of its habitat to urban expansion. It is now known from only five populations and in total occupies an area only about 30km^2 over an extent of about 670km^2.
