Comments: This is a very widespread and common Lachenalia, distributed over a large part of the Northern and Western Cape provinces. Although certain parts of distribution has been impacted by habitat loss, it is still not threatened as a result of its wide distribution and common occurrence. This species is recognisable by its single linear leaf with green and maroon bands on the lower surface.
