Life form: Geophyte (bulb, corm or tuber - seasonally dormant)
Comments: This species has bell-shaped, blue flowers and is only found on seasonally wet flats. Unfortunately, urban development and wheat cultivation has led to the rapid destruction of most of its habitat. Habitat loss is continuing and as a result the decline of this species is ongoing.
