Comments: It has a wide distribution within southern Africa, occurring in the Eastern Cape, Kwazulu-Natal, Mpumalanga, Limpopo and Gauteng. It typically grows in moist habitats such as along stream banks or forest margins. Its showy orange flowers can be seen from January to July. This plant makes for a very rewarding garden subject with its lovely display of flowers.
