Comments: In late summer, it is covered in pure white, lightly fragrant flowers. In autumn it becomes a silvery mass of fluffy seed heads. A decoction of the bark and stems has slight healing effects. The bark and some of the wood scrapings and shavings are used as an inhalant for head colds (as is Eucalyptus). It is said to have several other medicinal uses.
