Comments: The fruit is green, ellipsoid, about the size of a chicken egg and matures in autumn. It has a sweet, aromatic flavour that tastes like pineapple, apple and mint. The fruit falls to the ground when ripe and at its fullest flavour, though it may be picked from the tree prior to falling.
