Comments:
Lonicera periclymenum is an excellent source of nectar and pollen for all kinds of insects. Cats are particularly drawn to the sweet smell, and their toys are often filled with it. It is a self-fertile plant pollinated by bees and provides shelter and nesting spots for birds and small animals. Health, beauty products, and soaps are made from honeysuckle, and has even been used as a powerful herbal medicine, treating gout, kidney stones and liver problems.
