Comments: This is a much-branched woody shrub with sticky leaves which have a distinct balm-like scent. It has an interesting disjunct distribution, being widespread from the Western to Eastern Cape, but also occurring on the Soutpansberg in Limpopo. It is possible that its distribution was more continuous in the past.
