Comments: This beautifully white-spotted dwarf aloe is widespread and occurs in various habitats, including humus-rich soils in riverine forests, mountainous slopes in grasslands and sandy hot soils in the Nama-Karoo. In Lesotho, this aloe is believed to induce pregnancy when placing an uprooted individual near a barren woman.
