Comments:
The maiden’s hair quiver tree grows only on the tops of mountains in the Richtersveld where coastal fogs create a lush haven in this arid hotspot. It differs from its sister species, A. dichotomum, by branching densely from the base. It faces population decline due to overgrazing and climate change induced drought.
