Comments:
This range-restricted tree aloe grows on dunes in humid coastal forest. Although much of its forest habitat has been destroyed, the species is not declining as it does not often get cut down. All SA tree aloes are bird-pollinated, the eastern species specifically by sunbirds, which are attracted to their pendant flower clusters.
