Comments: Each fruit with its green, warty skin resembles a toad, giving rise to the common name Toad tree. It grows in forests or bushland from sea level up to 1,000 metres altitude. It has numerous local medicinal uses including treatment of heart disease, cancer, tuberculosis and venereal diseases.
