Comments:
Only found in Sudan, this species grows on lowland sandy plains and semi-desert hills. Wild populations have been decimated by overharvesting of its leaves, which are used to treat skin ailments, digestive problems, fevers and inflammation. Small plants form from the adult’s roots, creating large clumps.
