Comments: This orchid is popular in cultivation, able to grow very large and does well outdoors in climates with mild winters. In nature, as an epiphyte, it grows on branches of rainforest trees. It forms gigantic spreading clumps on rocks and cliff faces, often in full sun. It can be found from sea level to mountain tops.
