Comments: The unmistakable pink flowers of the March lily is a well-known sign in the Cape of the end of summer. They are a very common sight in late summer and can often be seen next to roads and in parks. It occurs from the northern Cederberg to Nature's Valley in a wide variety of habitats. They are also rewarding and resilient plants in the garden as long as the soil is well-drained. Amaryllis belladonna is widespread and common and is currently not considered a threatened species.
